He kicked the door open (again I believe) and placed her gently on the bed. He drew the covers up to her chin and leaned down & kissed her forehead. "Lotesse seere bie yassen lle vee' lle kaima." he muttered, putting a hand on her forehead. It was a traditional Elven blessing entreating the receiver to have peaceful sleep. Thinking for a bit, he pulled out a chunk of silver and started molding it into something. When he was done sculpting it, he infused it with another old Elven spell letting whoever had that sculpture to get in touch with the sculptor immediately. Placing the sculpture on her bedside table he passed a hand over it, slightly transmuting the tips of the rose into diamond so it would definitely be noticed when Midori woke up. Aaric said the first spell, the sleeping one, over her again and left quietly to make sure he didn't wake her up too soon.

Many many hours later Midori woke up. "Mmmmm" she moaned rolling over. Looking up at the sun roof she frowned looking dismayed. I guess it was all a dream. A very good dream. The thought of kissing Aaric brought a smile to her face. I should eat something Midori sat up in bed her feet dangling over the side. Getting up and getting dressed she put on a pretty purple dress.  She went over to her bedside table for her brush, when she saw the silver rose. Picking it up she saw the diamonds. Dragons love treasure...Diamonds are my favorite...So sparkly and white.....A lot stronger than they seem. Sensing magic with in she probed, and recognized who's magic it was. It's Aaric's...Aaric...did you make this...for me....Does that mean that last night was real..it wasn't a dream?if it was real... Midori sat down on the bed. If what i thought was a dream...was real...then i..i kissed him.. She blushed, and laided on her back once again at the sun streaming through the roof. Be real! like he would come!Part of her said, looking at the beautiful sculpture in her hands. I love it...thank you..... He'll come...won't he?....he made this for me right?...so he'll come....Midori just laid there, quiet and not thinking about anything. Unaware that the rose in her hands let Aaric hear her thoughts. ((wow that was a lot )) |

A soft voice whispered into her mind after she fell silent. I will be there in moments, my heart. The rose in her hands seemed to warm and the diamonds sparkled without the help of the sunlight streaming into the room.

Midori's eyes when wide. Aaric...you....how....but your far away....how can you read my thoughts... but then she looked at the rose and smiled, knowing the answer right away. So i wasn't dreaming?...You really........ kissed me?

Yes. Twice really. His voice said in her mind. The door opened silently and he stepped through, closing the door again. "Did you not remember? Or did you mayhap think it a dream?" he asked, teasingly, a smile on his face.

When Aaric walked in Midroi sat straight up. She started to cry (just a little), Him standing there and smiling. She got up and ran the small distance between them, rapping her hands around him, possibly squeezing him too tight. Looking up at him a few tears trailing down her cheeks. “You know…I love the color of your eyes.” she whispered, more to herself than to him. She reached up touching the corners of his eyes. “They’re a beautiful red.” Midori closed her eyes, resting her head on his chest, relaxing and enjoying his touch. After a bit she snapped her eyes open and backed away. “I’m sorry….I shouldn’t have…” Midori blushed. I shouldn’t have done that! she scolded herself. What if he didn’t want me to touch him? What if…? God I need some air… need to get outta here…before I say or do something even more stupid She let out her glimmering Purple wings. Used her magic to open up the sun roof with the flick of her finger. “I should go…..” She tried to come up with a reason why she should… tell him you have something you need to do! Midori smiled a sad playing with the silver rose in her hand, trying to come up with an excuse, something to say.
((she's still a bit shy and unsure as too what she should do))

Walking over to her, he covered her hands in his, stilling them. "I did not mind your touching. It was fairly pleasant to be honest." he said, taking her in his arms and embracing her. He kissed her forehead. "So please calm yourself, my heart."

Midori felt relaxed and clam in his arms. Tilting her head just a little to so she could see him she frowned. “What’s so funny?” she asked a bit offended when he laughed thinking he was laughing at her. She reluctantly stepped away from him, went to her side table and grabbed her brush and started to brush her hair, getting the little knots out of her hair. Brushing her hair until her purple hair was shining, offsetting her wings that were still visible. Midori was a bit pouty thinking that Aaric was laughing at her. I bet he thinks I’m childish…most people do…by the ways of my people I’m still a child…barely even a teenager. She thought as she brushed paying no mind to Aaric or to the fact that he could read her mind. I bet he only kissed me to make sure that I stayed. Maybe I should leave…maybe it’s just an illusion…*aggravating scream* why is it I doubt things? why can’t I be sure of myself and mighty like a dragon should.?

Aaric sat beside her and put his arm around her waist, pulling her close. "I do not work in illusions and I do not want you to leave. Also, I was not laughing at you. I promise." he said, resting his head against hers.

Midori smiled. It seemed he knew just what to say. but then again he could read minds. She didn't care, she looked at him and her smile widened. "Kiss me again?" she whispered in a voice so small he could only hear because he was righ next to her.

He continued to kiss her until he realized that they were laying down. That was when he pulled away. "Midori. No." he said shaking his head. Sensing that she would take it the wrong way, he started to explain. "Nothing like this should happen just now. You are still very young. I do not want you making a decision that you wished you had not later in your life.”
