He picked a nearby orchid and tucked it behind her ear. Then he saw nearby roses and ran over to them. "AH! Roses! I used to live in a rosebush a really long time ago. Friendly flowers." He nodded sagely.

"I used to live in a bush like this one. And I can control the earth somewhat and create things of the earth." The palm of his hand glowed a dull green and a moment later a red and white striped rose lay in his hand. "See?" He held up the hybrid rose for her to look at.

He held out the rose to her. "You can have this one as well. And don't worry about it. I'd like yours to mine. Sure I can go from 6 inches to 6 feet but it's not the same." He finished talking and his eyes widened. In a poof, he was 6 inches again. "As you can see, there's a limit. It was short this time because I haven't done it in a while. If I had it would be a lot longer." He shrugged, unfurling his wings and flying into the bush. He landed right beside a rose and he looked at it as if listening. Then he looked up at her and said, "This one says he thinks your pretty."

"Yep." He said. Then he turned his attention to the other rose beside him. "Uh oh! He's in trouble now!" He started laughing, shaking his head. He pointed to the other rose. "She's mad at him. They're actually married and now they're arguing." He listened for a bit then winced. "Ooh low blow."

"Yes they surely can! They can get very loud." he said, shaking his head. "Ouch another low blow! She's really angry." He talked to the male rose, shrugging. He listened for a while then responded. The male rose slightly dipped in height. Then Kaz smiled widely. "They've made up!'

Kaz fell off her shoulder when she ran off into the maze. He sat on the ground, looking after her a bit dazed. Then he heard a growl from the other side of the bushes. Green incandescent eyes stared at him through the foliage. He chuckled nervously and started walking to the other hedge. "Hehe... nice kitty.. nice.." He said. The cat started advancing on him and he kept going backwards. "No.. no kitty.. be nice. BE NICE KITTY!" He jumped up and flew abouta foot in the air. "NICE NICE KITTY!" He said, trying to fly out of its reach.
